The Rectory in Ceuró is located on top a hill and overlooks the Ribera Salada river 200 m below. This place offers magnificent views: the Pre-Pyrenees to the north and the Comiols and Montsec mountain ranges to the west. In the east you can admire the fields in the valley, surrounded by thick pine tree forests all situated within Castellar de la Ribera municipality. The Rectory, once the residence of priests, together with the Romanesque church, resembles a medieval fortified castle due to their hill top location and surrounding stone walls.
